Leadership / Kepemimpinan

Psychology: Self-Awareness / Psikologi: Pengenalan Diri
2 credits Prerequisite(s): None This course must be taken by every UPH student in all study program, as it aims to help students understand their existence as a human (human being) intact, especially from a psychological point of view, according to the 'CFRC' (Creation-Fall-Redemption-Consummation). Through this course, students understand human existence from a theological and psychological point of view. From a theological point of view, human as 'The Fallen Image Bearer' has experienced 'total damage' so that they are constrained in understanding themselves as they should. Such a condition creates a variety of 'psychological barriers' that impede the human process of understanding itself as a whole. Thus, students are expected to understand their 'self-understanding' more openly, honestly, deeply, and objectively, as capital in the process of self-development/character development. Furthermore, students are also helped to take the first step in dealing with and overcoming various 'psychological barriers', formulating a personal strategy formula, in order to develop personal qualities and character, toward dynamic growth as a whole person.
